The company also recycles rigid PVC, plastics, and packaging products; refines and recycles aluminum; recycles copper and produces copper alloys; and specializes in the treatment and recycling of zinc, lead, and cadmium. In addition, it engages in the treatment and decontamination of mercury waste. The company was formerly known as AUER and changed its name to Aurea SA in 1988. Aurea SA is based in Paris, France.
