The company was formerly known as ANS Textiles (Bangalore) Limited and changed its name to Gokak Textiles Limited in January 2007. The company was founded in 1885 and is based in Bengaluru, India. Gokak Textiles Limited is a subsidiary of Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited.
